Broncos Head to Hawaii for Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational

WHAT'S NEXT: The Boise State women's golf team continues spring competition, competing at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational from March 17-19. The Broncos will play on Ocean Course at Hokuala, located in Kauai, Hawaii.
THE FIELD: Boise State, Hawaii (Host), Arizona State, Fresno State, Long Beach State, Mercer, Morehead State, New Mexico, North Carolina, Rutgers, Sacramento State, San Francisco, Texas State, Tulane, Washington
LAST TIME ON THE LINKS: Boise State won the team title at the Pizza Hut-Lady Thunderbird Invitational, carding an 894 (+30) that was 10 strokes better than runner-up Weber State. Sophomore Leia Chung was the tournament co-champion, finishing at 216 (E) to earn a share of her first collegiate crown. She earned Mountain West Golfer of the Week honors for the first time in her career. Hannah Lim had a career-best ninth-place finish and Elli Gordon was 17th, marking her 10th-career top-25 finish.
HOMECOMING IN HAWAII: Leia Chung and Teal Matsueda will be competing in their home state of Hawaii for the first time this season. Chung, a native of Wahiawa, has played in the Aloha State once, tying for 19th at the Anuenue Spring Break Classic last season. This will mark the first collegiate competition in Hawaii for Matsueda, who hails from Kaimuki.
