BOISE, Idaho - With the dual tied 3-3, Lorelyz Marruffo won a third-set tiebreaker,10-8, to give Boise State women's tennis a 4-3 victory over No. 59 San Diego State, Sunday, at the Appleton Tennis Center.

The Broncos (6-6, 2-0 Mountain West) started out with a default doubles victory on court three, allowing a 6-2 win by Pauline Ernstberger and Shauna Heffernan on court two to secure the doubles point for the Blue and Orange. Boise State won via walkover on court six to take an early 2-0 lead.

The Aztecs (7-5, 1-1 MW) got on the board with a 6-3, 7-5 victory on court four. Nicole Discenza responded, winning 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 on court five to give the Broncos a 3-1 advantage. The final three courts came down to the wire, with San Diego State taking courts one and three to tie the dual at three. Marruffo clinched the victory for the Broncos, winning a three-set tiebreak on court two, 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 (8).
