LARAMIE, Wyo. – Boise State women's tennis lost its first Mountain West match of the season Friday, falling to Wyoming 4-1 in Laramie, Wyo.
The Cowgirls (10-7, 1-1 MW) got on the scoreboard first, securing the doubles point by winning on courts one and three. Wyoming increased the lead to 3-0 by taking singles victories on courts two and three.
Shauna Heffernan put the Broncos (6-7, 2-1 MW) on the board, winning 7-6 (5), 7-5 from the No. 4 position. Pauline Ernstberger forced a third set after dropping the first on court one, but ultimately lost 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 as the Cowgirls clinched the match.
