STANFORD, Calif. – Boise State lost its third-straight game at the DeMarini Invitational with an 8-0 run-rule defeat at the hands of No. 7 Stanford.

The game began Friday and was suspended in the fourth inning due to rain. More rain Saturday delayed the resumption of the game by approximately 30 minutes before Stanford (12-4) eventually finished the victory.

Despite being held to three hits, the Broncos (11-8) had their chances. They loaded the bases with no outs in the third and again with one out in the fourth. In the game, Boise State left eight runners on base.

An adjusted schedule has Boise State playing at No. 20 California twice, Sunday with the first game beginning at 10:30 a.m. PT/11:30 a.m. MT.
