
Lupfer, Pahukoa Named to MW 25th Season Team

LAS VEGAS – Former Boise State women's basketball players Riley Lupfer and Brooke Pahukoa were named to the Mountain West 25th Season Women's Basketball Team, the league announced Saturday morning.

The team was selected by the MW 25th Season Committee as the conference celebrates its excellence on and off the field of play.
Riley Lupfer
A four-year letterwinner from 2016-20, Lupfer is one of the most decorated players in program history. The 5'9 guard from Spokane, Wash., led the Broncos to two MW Regular Season Championships and four-straight MW Tournament titles. She was named the 2018 MW Tournament MVP.

Lupfer is the program's leader with 350 career 3-pointers, and holds the top two spots in single-season history with 122 long balls in 2017-18 and 105 in 2019-20. She sits at second place in program history shooting 39.1% from beyond the arc.

The program's fourth-leading scorer with 1,538 career points, Lupfer was named first team All-MW three times and earned a spot on the 2016-17 MW All-Freshman Team. She also took home MW Player of the Week honors three times in her career. Academically, Lupfer was a three-time MW Scholar-Athlete and a two-time Academic All-Conference member.

Brooke Pahukoa
Pahukoa (2013-17) joins Lupfer with one of the most successful careers at Boise State. She led the Broncos to two MW Tournament Championships (2014-15, 2016-17) and was named MW Tournament MVP both times. Â
With 1,352 career points, the Lake Stevens, Wash., native is ninth on the program's all-time scoring list. She recorded the best free throw percentage in program history (83.0%), is third in total 3-pointers (193) and fourth in career 3-point percentage (36.6%).

Pahukoa was named first team All-MW twice in her career (2015-16, 2016-17) and received the league's player of the week honors four times. She was also named Academic All-Conference and a MW Scholar-Athlete all four years.
