RENO, Nev. – Boise State women's tennis was bested 4-2 by Nevada on Sunday.
The Wolf Pack (11-8, 5-4 Mountain West) won the first doubles match with a 6-3 victory on court two, but Ana Conde Vendrell and Nicole Discenza tied it up with a 6-2 win from the No. 3 position. Pauline Ernsberger and Shauna Heffernan followed up with a 6-4 victory on court one to secure the doubles point for the Broncos (7-12, 3-6 MW).
Nevada evened the score with a 6-4, 6-1 result at the No. 2 slot, before jumping out to a 3-1 lead with straight-set victories on courts one and five. Heffernan cut into the advantage, winning 7-5, 4-6, 6-3 from the No. 3 position, but the Wolf Pack secured the match with a 6-2, 5-7, 6-2 victory from the No. 6 court.
