Boise State didn't back down. Addison Wolden and Abbie Wolf responded first, winning in straight sets to put the Broncos on the scoreboard. Sharli O'Neil and Elli Wolthuis tied the matchup minutes later with a 22-20, 21-17 victory at the No. 5 position to send the dual's fate to the top court.

"This group put its heart and soul into the team. I'm really proud of what they accomplished this year. We put them in a lot of situations and they were able to adapt a lot. They pushed through a lot of adversity. It's always hard to lose at the end of the season, but we have to keep our head up. We had a great year and the growth of our program is undeniable. Our future is very, very bright." - Voigt
"This senior class gave everything to this program. They're leaving it better than they found it. I'm really proud of each and every one of them. I'm excited for what their future holds. They've been the epitome of what we want a Bronco to be in the Boise State beach volleyball program." – Voigt.
