BOISE, Idaho – Boise State men's basketball has signed Ethan Lathan (Rockford, Ill. | AZ Compass Prep (Ariz.)) to a national letter of intent, the program announced Wednesday.

Lathan joins the Broncos out of high school and joins guards Julian Bowie (Pocatello, Idaho) and Pearson Carmichael (Bend, Ore.) as part of Boise State's incoming freshmen class – the latter two signed in November during the early signing period. The trio joins Alvaro Cardenas (San Jose State), Javan Buchanan (Indiana Wesleyan) and Dylan Anderson (Arizona) as newcomers.

A composite three-star recruit, Lathan is one of the top center prospects nationally. The 6-foot-10- player is also one of the top 10 prospects from Arizona according to 247Sports and ESPN. He was named one of the breakout performers at the 2022 Tarkanian Classic High School.

Lathan played for some of the nation's top prep schools in AZ Compass Prep (Chandler, Ariz.) and Link Year Academy (Branson, Mo.).
