BOISE, Idaho – Former Boise State softball player Tara Glover was named to the Mountain West's 25th Season Team, the conference announced ahead of the start of the 2024 Mountain West Softball Championship – which Boise State is hosting, May 9-11.

The Mountain West is celebrating its 25th season of excellence on and off the field of play. During each Mountain West Championship in 2023-24 the conference has recognized a 25th Season Team. The teams have been determined by the Mountain West 25th Season Committee, comprised of members from the 11 full-time institutions.

Glover is the lone All-American in program history thanks to her NFCA third-team nod in 2012. The three-time All-Mountain West selection was named the conference's Co-Player of the Year in 2012 and her conference record for batting average (.476) stands to this day.

The 2012 season was a banner year for the Grants Pass, Ore., native as she led the NCAA in hits (88) and hits per game (1.63) and was third in batting average. Glover reached base safely in 52 of the season's 54 games.

For her career, Glover ranks first in Mountain West history in hits (271), second in stolen bases (97), fourth in at-bats (730) and fifth in runs (179).

Glover was a two-time Academic All-Mountain West selection and was an All-Pacific Region selection by the NFCA in 2012.

Boise State hosts the Mountain West Championships this week, May 9-11, at Dona Larsen Park. The Broncos open the tournament against Fresno State, Thursday at 12:30 p.m. MT.
