Boise State Reveals Refreshed Uniforms in EA Sports College Football 25 Teaser

Broncos to sport updated blue, black and white jerseys this season, uses college football video game to unveil refreshed design to fans

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State revealed refreshed uniforms for the 2024 season in the latest teaser of the EA Sports College Football 25 video game scheduled for release later this month.

In addition to the refreshed uniform style, Boise State also announced what colors fans can expect the football team to wear each game this season, as well as what the coordinated fan color will be for each game. Bronco Nation can view the clip with the refreshed designs below.

The Broncos will wear uniforms from the state-of-the-art Nike Vapor F.U.S.E (Field Utility Special Edition) line that combines lightweight fabric technology, research-backed innovation with a precision fit to help allow ultimate performance on the field.

It’s all about the lightweight fabric and snug fit. Players have already noticed the difference from last year’s uniforms.

Other changes to the uniform include the following.

Boise State font or wordmark on the front of the jersey is slightly larger, approximately 1/8 inch.
The Broncos script featured on the pants is slightly larger and longer, approximately 1/8 inch.
The stripes on the shoulders that were applied at an angle, now surround the arm.
The colors of the stripes have been reversed compared to the 2023 uniforms.
For the first time since 2006, jersey numbers have been added to the top of the shoulder.

The design elements featured on previous uniforms remain the same, including a blue collar that includes the wordmark “Blue Collar” on each jersey.

With the sixth-best all-time winning percentage (.725) among all FBS programs, Boise State based its refreshed uniform design on maintaining the consistency and tradition of winning the Broncos record on the field each week during the season. Since 2000, no western team (P4 or Group of 5) has come close to winning as many games as the Broncos have with 249 wins since the turn of the century.

As we approached changes to our uniform design, we wanted to emphasize the traditional look established in our previous design, maintaining the all-blue look and the Dark Mode concept. We also have discussed the opportunity to use some different combinations, including the retro throwback combination of blue helmets, orange jerseys and blue pants that were worn when Dirk Koetter was our head coach. Our team has worked hand-in-hand with EA Sports to ensure the updated look and appropriate combinations will be available in the new College Football 25 game coming out later this month.

The Broncos have blue, orange, white and black jerseys, pants, and helmets, creating 64 different possible combinations for the 2024 season.
