CHENEY, Wash. – Boise State women's soccer defeated Eastern Washington 2-1, Sunday afternoon.
 
Eastern Washington (5-4-1) was first on the scoreboard, scoring in the 26th minute. Chloe Pattison took the penalty kick after a foul in the box and successfully snuck it in the lower left corner of the goal.
 
Boise State (7-2-0) tied the match right before halftime with a goal in the 44th minute. Sophie Schmautz headed the ball into the right side of the net, receiving it directly from a corner kick from Jillian Anderson.
 
In the 53rd minute, Avery McBride secured the lead for the Broncos after putting a pass from Carly Cross in the bottom left of the goal, making the final score 2-1.

  • This marked the second time this season that the Broncos have won after trailing at some point during the match.
