WOLCOTT, Colo. – The Boise State women's golf team made history, registering a school-record score of 856 (-8) to tie for second at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic. Four Broncos matched or set a career-low for three rounds, led by Hannah Lim and Teal Matsueda, who tied for 10th at 214 (-2). Brooke Patterson (215, -1) and Jillian Hui (216, E) recorded career-bests to finish in the top-20. Emily Cadwell set a career-low in the final round, firing a 71 (-1).

Notables

Boise State set a program record for lowest 54-hole score, firing an 856 (-8). Eight of the top 10 three-round scores in school history have been recorded during Downs' tenure, which began in 2021.
The Broncos' 36-hole score of 575 (-1) matched the school record. Boise State has notched that score on three occasions, all under Downs.
The Blue and Orange recorded a 281 (-7) on the final day, the second-lowest round in school history.
Boise State's first round score of 284 (-4) is tied for the sixth-lowest round in program history.
Hannah Lim ended with a career-low 214 (-2), capping her week with a career-best 69 (-3).
Teal Matsueda also carded a 214 (-2), matching her career-best. She tied for 10th, the best finish of her career.
Matsueda and Lim are among four golfers tied for eighth in program history for lowest 54-hole score.
Brooke Patterson fired a career-low 69 (-3) in the first round and finished the week at a career-low 215 (-1). Through two rounds, she stood at 141 (-3), tying the seventh-lowest 36-hole score in school history.
Jillian Hui registered a 216 (E), also setting a career-low. Her final round score of 71 (-1) matches her career-best for a single round.
Emily Cadwell fired a career-best 71 (-1) in the final round.
The Broncos tied for second with Pepperdine, which was ranked No. 17 in the Golfweek preseason poll.

What's Next
The Broncos will play in the Dale McNamara Invitational, a two-day tournament held in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Boise State competes Oct. 14-15 at Cedar Ridge Country Club.
