MISSOULA, Mont. – Boise State volleyball fell in three sets, 25-21, 27-25, 25-20, to the Utah Valley Wolverines Saturday afternoon on the second day of the Ellesyn Invitational in Missoula, Montana.

The first two sets were tight throughout, as the teams traded mini runs and leads. In all, they combined for 24 ties and eight lead changes before the Wolverines claimed them both. Boise State fought off three set points in the second but could not finish before falling 27-25.

UVU used an 8-0 run to take control of the third set, going up 15-7. The Broncos never recovered from that run, as the Wolverines claimed the set 25-20 and the match 3-0.

TOP BRONCOS

Paige Bartsch had 12 kills, three service aces, eight digs, one block and 15.5 points.
Anabel Kotzakov finished with 10 kills, two digs, two blocks and 11 points.
Lilli Etter recorded six kills, 16 assists, seven digs and one block.
Breanna Mitchell tallied team-highs for service aces with three and digs with 14.

NOTABLES

Bartsch extended her streak of matches with double-digit kills to 14, dating back to the last nine contests of 2023.
Annie Kaminski had a team-high four blocks.
Kiki Remensperger tallied a team-high 18 assists.
