Sydney Groves Receives National Honor

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State junior Sydney Groves was named to the Softball America Preseason Top 100, Monday.

In 2024, Groves batted .318 and set the Boise State sophomore record with 18 home runs. The round tripper total tied for the team high, the Mountain West crown and 23rd nationally. The total was also tied for second most in school history.

The infielder added nine doubles and set a Boise State single-season record with 57 RBI. She was named to the 2024 NFCA All-Pacific Region First Team, the All-Mountain West Second Team and the Mountain West Championship all-tournament team.
