BOISE, Idaho — Boise State Rocket League returned to form Monday night, sweeping the University of Kansas 3–0 in Power Esports Conference action at the Boise State Esports Arena. The win moved the Broncos to 3–1 on the season and marked a strong response following last week's loss to Baylor.
The trio of Emiliano Flores (Durtho), Cade Hall (Wuzy), and Preston Ferrante (Prstn) controlled every phase of play from start to finish.
Game 1 was a defensive battle, as both teams traded possession and denied scoring chances. Boise State held firm behind steady rotations and timely clears, edging out a 2–1 win to open the series.
In Game 2, the Broncos' defense tightened even further. Ferrante anchored the back line while Flores and Hall converted key opportunities to build a 3–0 lead that held through the final seconds. The shutout gave Boise State a 2–0 series advantage and all the momentum.
The Broncos sealed the sweep in Game 3 with their most dominant showing of the night. Boise State's offensive pressure proved relentless, finding the net five times while limiting Kansas to just a single goal. The 5–1 victory capped a commanding night for the defending PEC champions.
Now 3–1 in conference play, the Broncos look poised to regain their early-season form as they enter the second half of the schedule.
