BOISE, Idaho — Boise State Overwatch 2 continued its strong spring start with a decisive 3–0 sweep of Nebraska, delivering one of its most complete performances of the season. The Broncos imposed structure, discipline, and individual dominance across all three maps, improving to 6-2 and reinforcing their position among the conference's top teams.
The series opened on Busan, where Boise State set the tone immediately. From the first team fights, the Broncos controlled objectives through clean rotations and near-flawless survivability. Buchanan Miller (Stryder) led the frontline with 28 eliminations and zero deaths, anchoring every engagement, while Mark Thanakomsirichot (Maksal) and Johnathan Foraker (Clear) applied consistent pressure that prevented Nebraska from finding momentum. Supported by Jenny Cummins' (Daydream) steady healing and assist output, Boise State closed fights efficiently and claimed the opening map with confidence.
Momentum carried into King's Row, where Boise State delivered its most lopsided showing of the night. Stryder once again dictated the pace, posting 27 eliminations and massive mitigation at the point of contact. Maksal and Clear continued to win space with disciplined positioning, while the support duo of Daydream and Carter Jones (Lyric) controlled tempo through sustained healing and well-timed ultimates. Nebraska found brief resistance, but Boise State repeatedly forced resets and closed the map cleanly.
The Broncos saved their final statement for Colosseo. Clear delivered a flawless performance with 19 eliminations and no deaths, shutting down Nebraska's attempts to contest space. Amanda Bailey (Diamonddog) subbed in and stabilized the frontline with strong mitigation, while Stryder and Maksal maintained pressure until the final checkpoint. Boise State controlled the push from start to finish, sealing the sweep with composure.
Across three maps, Boise State blended elite individual stat lines with disciplined team play. Stryder posted multiple zero-death maps, Clear closed the series without a single death on Colosseo, and Daydream and Lyric consistently enabled extended fight wins through assists and healing.
