BOISE, Idaho — Boise State Rocket League opened the Power Esports Conference Spring Season in emphatic fashion, sweeping Nebraska 3–0 on Monday night behind sustained offensive pressure and standout individual performances. The win moved the Broncos to 8–1 overall and set the tone for the spring slate.
Boise State controlled the series from the opening kickoff, dictating tempo and possession throughout all three games.
In Game 1, the Broncos wasted little time establishing control. Preston Ferrante (Prstn) led the charge early, scoring three goals while Emiliano Flores (Durtho) and Cade Hall (Wuzy) orchestrated the attack from the midfield. Boise State forced Nebraska into extended defensive stretches and pulled away for a comfortable win as the Huskers struggled to relieve pressure.
The dominance continued in Game 2, which highlighted Boise State's passing efficiency and rotation discipline. Flores and Ferrante each posted five goals and four assists, repeatedly breaking down Nebraska's back line. The Broncos limited the Huskers to just four total shots, keeping the series firmly in their control as they surged to match point.
Nebraska showed its strongest resistance in Game 3, with all three Husker players recording six saves apiece in a determined defensive effort. Despite the resistance, Hall ensured the sweep, scoring three goals to close the series. His finishing proved decisive as Boise State capitalized on late opportunities to seal the 3–0 victory.
Hall finished the series with six goals on 13 shots, while Flores and Ferrante combined for 10 goals and 10 assists, underscoring Boise State's balanced and relentless attack. Overall, the Broncos outscored Nebraska 16–3 and nearly tripled the Huskers in shots.
With the sweep, Boise State opens the PEC Spring Season with momentum and confidence, reaffirming its position among the conference's top contenders.
