Boise, Idaho — Boise State's own Jonathan Foraker is making waves on the biggest stages, as his team, Nosebleed, has qualified for the Pacific Region World Championship Qualifiers event in Korea. Foraker, who has many years of professional Overwatch Experience, becomes one of the first players to ever qualify out of two regions for a WCQ tournament.
The Boise State Senior has made a name for himself in the world of professional Overwatch, having made it to the World Championships with Team Nightmare last season in Stockholm, Sweden. Thanks to Boise State Exended Studies, Foraker is able to travel and play professionally all around the world, while still not missing class. He also still regularly competes and practices with the Broncos, thanks to strategic time management from Head Coach Doc Haskell. The 2023 NACE and 2025 PEC All American will return for the Broncos next week, as they prepare for week two of PEC and week three of Mountain West play.
Although he plays DPS (Damage) for the Broncos, Clear is a world class tank player for Nosebleed. His versatility across multiple roles makes him one of the most valuable players in college esports, and has set him up for a flourishing professional career once he finishes his studies at Boise State. The Digital Innovation and Design major will leave Boise State after the spring season as one of the most decorated Broncos ever, winning two national championships and multiple conference championships in just his first three years with the program.
