BOISE, Idaho — Boise State Esports enters Mountain West Championship Week with three titles within reach, as the defending College Football 26 and Rocket League champions look to retain their crowns while the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster aims to capture its first-ever conference championship.
The Broncos have been one of the conference's most consistent programs all season, suffering only three total losses across all Mountain West play — two in Smash and one in Rocket League. Boise State enters the postseason with strong seeding across the board. CFB26 enters the championship as the number one overall seed, while Rocket League is the second seed. Smash Bros clocks in at the three seed.
Historically, the fall semester has been fertile ground for the program; Boise State has claimed a majority of its 12 Mountain West Championships during the first half of the academic year.

In Case You Missed It: Fall Recap
Boise State opened the Mountain West regular season in commanding fashion.
Rocket League launched the fall with consecutive wins over Air Force and San Jose State, quickly establishing itself as the team to beat. The Broncos then rolled through Utah State, New Mexico, Nevada, Grand Canyon, and Colorado State — finishing the season perfect, with multiple sweeps and some of their strongest offensive showings of the year.
College Football 26 began its season with a decisive victory over San Jose State and never relinquished its spot atop the standings, entering Championship Week as the top seed.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate dropped its opening match to San Jose State but rebounded quickly. After a loss to Hawai'i on September 30, the Broncos didn't drop another match the rest of the fall, earning victories over New Mexico (2–0) and San Diego State (2–0) to lock in the No. 3 seed.
