BOISE, Idaho – Boise State women's soccer announced the addition of Dalen Lau for the 2026 season. Lau comes to the Broncos following three years at Sacramento State.
"Dalen is a tremendous addition to the storied backline at Boise State. Adding even more power and pace to a group that went undefeated in conference play last year, Dalen will be a key contributor to protecting Defensive Player of the Year, Ava de Leest, and combining with Kaitlyn Slocum and Siena Zunino. Dalen's addition to the squad provides us with everything we need to challenge for our first PAC-12 title." Boise State Head Coach Jim Thomas said.
With the Hornets, she appeared in 52 total matches (42 starts). Lau was a member of a backline that posted six shutouts and was named to the Big Sky Conference All-Tournament Team in 2024.
This past season, the Honolulu, Hawai'i, native collected Big Sky Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors following her performance against Northern Colorado where she registered an assist.
Lau played high school soccer at Punahou School, she was named the Most Outstanding Player in the state tournament and was an all-state first team selection during her senior year. Lau tallied four goals (eight points) as a junior and senior.
