Chloe Hughes Named Mountain West Freshman of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Boise State shortstop Chloe Hughes was named Mountain West Freshman of the Week, Monday.

Hughes batted .800 (8-for-10) in four starts and was named all-tournament at the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge, Feb. 13-15.

Against FIU, Feb. 15, she was 3-for-3 with a double, triple, two runs and a school freshman record seven RBI.

The Mariposa, California native collected a hit in each game, including three multi-hit efforts. She finished the week with four runs, .833 on-base percentage, 1.200 slugging percentage and 2.033 OPS.
