
Broncos Head to Meet at Utah State

- THE MEET: No. 27 Boise State will travel to face No. 30 Utah State on Friday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. MT.
- SCOUTING THE AGGIES: No. 30 Utah State enters the meet with an overall record of 4-8 and 1-2 conference record. This marks the second time this season that the Broncos will face the Aggies after recording a 195.925-195.850 win at home on Jan. 31. Boise State looks to continue its eight-meet win streak and earn its 60th win all-time over Utah State.
- IN THE RANKINGS: Boise State is No. 27 in the RoadToNationals team rankings with an NQS score of 195.630, tying for the team's highest ranking of the season. The Broncos are No. 14 in the bars rankings, boasting a 49.130 NQS score, the highest of any non-power 4 opponent. The team is also in the beam rankings at No. 21 with a NQS score of 48.965.
- ONE OF ONE: Boise State is the only undefeated team in the Mountain West in conference competition.
- EVENT CHAMPIONS: The Broncos picked up a total of six event titles. Sydney Kho and Emily Lopez earned a share of the vault title, Lopez was named bars champion, Kristina Shchennikova notched the beam title and Bridget Kemp and Blake Pascal shared the floor crown.
- KEEP EM COMING: Lopez picked up her fourth Mountain West weekly honor on the season. She was named Bars Specialist of the Week with a season-high 9.950, marking her 14th-career honor and ninth on bars.
- TWO FOR ONE: Shchennikova was named MW Beam Specialist of the Week and Freshman of the Week. She earned her fourth and fifth accolades of the season, scoring a 9.900 on both bars and beam.
- UP AND UP: The Broncos recorded team season-highs on bars (49.375) and beam (49.175). The squad also achieved a season-high overall score of 196.425. Boise State has improved its bars score in four-straight meets, the longest streak of improvement since 1999.
- RECORD WATCH: Lopez earned her 17th-career bars win at the quad meet in San Jose (Jan. 26), putting her in sole possession of third all-time for bars victories in program history. She now sits behind Emily Mulenhaupt (2018-22) in first with 22 wins and Lindsay Ward (2004-08) in second with 20.
- PRESEASON EXPECTATIONS: Boise State came in at No. 33 in the 2025 Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Preseason Poll, the 14th time since 2010 that the Broncos have earned a preseason national ranking. The Blue and Orange received 341 points and were the only team in the Mountain West to place in the top 36.
