
Bronco Athletics Celebrates 90 Student-Athletes on Academic All-Mountain West Team

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State had 90 student-athletes named to the Fall 2024 Academic All-Mountain West team, the conference announced today.
Football led the way with 41 selections, followed by women's soccer with 19. Volleyball (12), Men's cross country (9) and women's cross country (9) rounded out the honorees for the Broncos. Four student-athletes achieved a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 4.0.
Boise State student-athletes excelled in the classroom during the 2024 fall semester as they recorded the second-best single semester GPA in department history and combined to tie the highest all-department cumulative GPA. The fall semester mark stands at 3.38 and the cumulative mark checks in at 3.42. It is the 34th consecutive semester the department posted a term GPA of 3.0 or higher.
To be eligible for academic all-conference accolades, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or better and must have competed in 50 percent of the team's completed varsity contests. Some latitude was permitted to accommodate student-athletes who were injured and unable to compete in the required number of games. The MW honored 853 student-athletes this semester.
