
No. 28 Broncos Set for Senior Night Against No. 22 Southern Utah

- THE MEET: No. 28 Boise State will host its last home meet of the season against No. 22 Southern Utah. The Broncos will honor their seniors on Friday, March 10, 2025 at 7 p.m. at ExtraMile Arena.
- SCOUTING THE THUNDERBIRDS: Southern Utah enters the meet ranked 22nd nationally as a team with an 12-4 record. The Thunderbirds rank 20th on vault, 28th on bars, 33rd on beam and 18th on floor in the RoadToNationals event rankings. The Broncos lead the all-time series, 49-31.
- IN THE RANKINGS: Boise State is No. 28 in the RoadToNationals team rankings with an NQS score of 195.980, improving its previous score. The Broncos are No. 21 in the bars rankings, boasting a 49.180 NQS score, the highest of any non-power 4 opponent. The team is also in the beam rankings at No. 26 with an NQS score of 49.040, also the highest of any non-power 4 opponent.
- REGULAR SEASON CHAMPS: The Broncos earned the Mountain West regular season championship after defeating Air Force on Feb. 28. Boise State rounded out conference competition with a 5-1 record.
- HOME SWEET HOME: Boise State is the only team in the Mountain West undefeated at home. The Broncos boast a 4-0 home record on the season. If the Broncos defeat the Thunderbirds, it will mark their first undefeated home record since 2021.
- SISTER SISTER: Anna Ferguson will compete against her sister Maria Ferguson for the second time this season. Sydney Kho is also competing against her two older sisters', Caitlin Kho and Kaylee Kho, alma mater.
- BARS QUEEN: Emily Lopez is tied for 28th nationally in the RoadToNationals individual rankings with an NQS score of 9.895. She ranks first in the Mountain West and seventh in the west region.
- EVENT CHAMPIONS: Lopez won the beam title, scoring a 9.900. This marks her first beam title of the season and seventh of her career. Alyssa Vulaj took home a share of the vault title with a 9.875, marking the fifth of the season and ninth of her career.
- FIRST OF MANY: Sydney Leitch earned her first MW weekly accolade after scoring a 9.875 on bars. She led the Broncos to a 49.225 team score on the event.
- ANOTHER: Lopez picked up MW Beam Specialist following her performance against Southern Utah (March 7). This marks her first MW beam weekly honor this season and third of her career, bringing her MW weekly honor count to 17.
- VAULT SPECIALIST: Alyssa Vulaj collected her third MW weekly honor, all on vault, as she recorded a 9.875 on vault to take home the event title.
- RECORD WATCH: Lopez earned her 18th-career bars win at the quad meet in San Jose (Jan. 26), putting her in sole possession of third all-time for bars victories in program history. She now sits behind Emily Mulenhaupt (2018-22) in first with 22 wins and Lindsay Ward (2004-08) in second with 20.
- PRESEASON EXPECTATIONS: Boise State came in at No. 33 in the 2025 Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Preseason Poll, the 14th time since 2010 that the Broncos have earned a preseason national ranking. The Blue and Orange received 341 points and were the only team in the Mountain West to place in the top 36.
