
Four Broncos Named CSC Academic All-District

BOISE, Idaho – Four Boise State women's basketball student-athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators 2024-25 Academic All-District Team, the organization announced on Tuesday. Dani Bayes, Abby Muse, Mary Kay Naro and Natalie Pasco were all recognized by the CSC.

The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Naro earned the award for the fourth time in her career, while Muse has garnered the honor for the third time. Pasco received the award last season, while Bayes earned the accolade for the first time in her career.

Bayes, a marketing major with a 3.68 cumulative GPA, averaged 9.1 points per game for the Broncos this season. The Brisbane, Australia native notched 15 games in double figures, including four games with over 15 points. The junior was a sharpshooter from beyond the arc, recording 10 games with three or more 3-pointers on the year, and ended the year 11th on the program's all-time 3-point list with 148 career long balls. Bayes is a two-time Mountain West Scholar-Athlete and two-time Academic All-MW honoree.

Muse, who is set to graduate with a business administration masters in the spring with a 3.88 cumulative GPA, broke a 43-year-old program record to become Boise State's all-time leading rebounder this season, ending the year with 1,127 career boards. The program's career block leader with 330 total blocks, Muse ended her career as the third Mountain West player to block over 300 shots. Â Muse is a four-time MW Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-MW recipient.

Naro, who is planning to graduate with a public administration masters in the spring with a 4.0 cumulative GPA, finished eight assists shy (608) of the program's all-time assist record. The Beaverton, Ore., native ended the year ranked 12th nationally with a 2.7 assist-to-turnover ratio and finished fourth among MW players with 4.2 assists per game. A menace defensively, Naro also ended her career ranked fifth in the program's record books with 103 career blocks. Naro is also a four-time MW Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-MW recipient.

Pasco, a psychology major with a 3.79 cumulative GPA, averaged 12.5 points per game for the Blue and Orange and notched four games with over 20 points. The 3-point specialist made a league-leading 41.4% of her attempts from beyond the arc, and moved into third place in program history with 195 career 3-pointers. Pasco is a two-time MW Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-MW recipient.
