Boise State Men’s Golf to Compete in Bandon Dunes Collegiate

WHAT'S NEXT: Beginning Sunday, Boise State men's golf will compete in the Bandon Dunes Collegiate, taking place in Bandon, Ore. Hosted by the University of Idaho, the three-day (March 9-11), 54-hole event takes place at Bandon Trails Golf Course, with an 8:30 a.m. PT shotgun start each day.
ABOUT BANDON TRAILS: A top-rated golf resort in the world, Bandon Trails was rated as the No. 6 public course in the United States for 2024 by Golfweek. The course is a par 71, with a 6-under tournament record by Tommy Stephenson (Fresno State) in 2021.

LAST TIME OUT: Collectively, the Broncos finished ninth (867, +3) in the Lake Las Vegas Invitational (Feb. 26-28; Henderson, Nev.) which featured 15 teams. Gavyn Knight shot 4-under (T-12th) and recorded his fifth top 25 finish of the season. Ryan Meyer (individual) finished tied for sixth at 6-under.
RUECK OFF TO IMPRESSIVE SPRING START: Cole Rueck has already recorded first-place finishes in two events. He won the Genesis Collegiate Showcase at Torrey Pines for the second-straight year while also claiming victory at the Loyola Intercollegiate.
THE SQUAD: Head Coach David Trainor has an experienced squad this season with only one true freshman on the roster. His team features defending conference champion Cole Rueck, along with three members of the lineup from last season's conference championships: Luke Cushman, Ryan Meyer and Will O'Connor.
THE FIELD: Idaho (host), Air Force, Boise State, Boston College, CSUN, Eastern Kentucky, Morehead State, North Dakota State, North Idaho College, Oregon, San Jose State, SeattleU, SIU-Edwardsville, Tarleton State and Utah Valley.
