Makenzie Butt Receives Softball America Honor

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State freshman Makenzie Butt continues to be ranked among the nation's best first baseman, according to Softball America.

The reigning Mountain West Freshman of the Week, Butt is ninth nationally in Softball America's position power rankings.

Butt ranks nationally in home runs (tied third, 16), home runs per game (fourth, 0.46), RBI per game (sixth, 1.49 per game) and RBI (sixth, 52).
