BOISE, Idaho – Boise State freshman Makenzie Butt moved up to No. 9 in this week's D1Softball First Base Player Power Rankings.

Butt leads NCAA freshmen with 18 home runs and 63 RBI. The RBI total is a Boise State single-season record.

She ranks fifth nationally in RBI overall and her home runs are tied for sixth. She is also in the NCAA top 10 for RBI per game (1.50) and home runs per game (0.43).
