Makenzie Butt Garners D1Softball Honor

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State freshman Makenzie Butt is No. 10 in the week 8 D1Softball First Base Player Power Rankings.

Butt collected six RBI in a doubleheader sweep of Colorado State, Wednesday, to set a Boise State single-season record at 58. Her total ranks second nationally and her 1.57 per game sit third in the NCAA.

A native of Fountain Valley, California, Butt leads the team with 16 home runs, tied for third in the country. Her 0.43 per game is tied for seventh nationally.
