Broncos Receive Freshman All-America Honor for Second-Straight Year

BOISE, Idaho – Makenzie Butt represented Boise State on the 2025 Softball America Freshman All-America Team, Tuesday.

Butt was selected as a utility player after being named Mountain West First Team, Mountain West Freshman of the Year and NFCA All-Mountain Region Third Team.

As the Broncos' primary first baseman, Butt set a Boise State record and tied a conference freshman record with 22 home runs. She set a school record with 77 RBI.
