LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Boise State beach volleyball program earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award Honor Roll distinction, the organization announced on Monday.

The recognition is given to beach volleyball programs that represented the top 20% of GPAs nationally. It marks the third time the Broncos have earned the honor roll distinction in program history, having previously garnered the recognition in 2021 and 2022.

The honor comes on top of the program earning the AVCA Team Academic Award for the seventh consecutive season, and eight of the last nine seasons. To earn the award, the entire roster must combine to maintain a 3.3 cumulative GPA for the entire academic year. For the 2024-25 academic year, Boise State accumulated a 3.75 cumulative GPA.

The award adds to the program's decorated list of academic recognition for the season. The Broncos had six student-athletes named to the 2025 Southland Conference All-Academic Team, the most from a single team in the history of the conference. Additionally, Allyson Alden was named the SLC Beach Volleyball Student-Athlete of the Year, marking the second-straight season a Boise State student-athlete has taken home the award.

Additionally, Alden, Ava Anderson, Addison Wolden and Abbie Wolf were recognized to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
