Broncos Prepare for Season with Weekend Scrimmage

BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State women's soccer team unofficially opened up the 2025 campaign with the Blue and Orange scrimmage on Sunday at Boas Soccer Complex.
Junior forward Asia Lawyer found the back of the net at the 23:49 mark of the first half.
Redshirt senior forward Kenzie MacMillan nearly gave her squad a two-goal lead when she laced a shot off the right post in the 26th minute.
With just five minutes left in the scrimmage, defender Lexi Chatterton sealed the match for her team. The redshirt sophomore ripped a shot from the left side of the box to net the game-winner. The final was 2-0.
Boise State opens the 2025 season at Davis Field on the campus of Idaho State on Sunday, Â August 17. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.Â
The new look squad features nine freshmen, two transfers, and a group of 18 returners.
The Broncos will return to Boas Soccer Complex on Thursday, August 28, to host Montana with kickoff at 7 p.m.
