Boise State Releases Men’s Tennis Fall 2025 Schedule

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State Athletics announced the complete 2025 fall men's tennis schedule Monday afternoon, featuring 10 tournaments.
"We are really excited about this year's group of guys. We have put together a really challenging schedule to test them and get them prepared for our dual match season," said head coach Luke Shields. "We believe we have a handful of guys with a realistic shot to make it to the NCAA's in singles and doubles."
The season began last week with three tournaments, including the lone home tournament of the fall, the Dar Walters Classic at the Appleton Tennis Center, Julia Davis Park, and Fort Boise.
Boise State also sent representatives to the Battle in the Bay in San Francisco and the Blue-Gray Tennis Classic in Birmingham, Alabama.
Future tournaments this fall start with the ITA All-American Championships held from September 20 to 28 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This is an invite-only competition with the Broncos waiting to hear from the selection committee.
Once October arrives, two major competitions will take place, with implications for qualifying for the NCAA Singles and Doubles National Championships, November 19-24.
The first is the Mountain West Qualifier, taking place from October 3 to 5 in Las Vegas. The winners of that event will automatically advance to the ITA Conference Masters, Nov. 6-8, in San Diego, for a chance to qualify for the national championships in Lake Nona, Florida.
The second event is the ITA Mountain Region Championships, taking place from October 15 to 20 in Las Vegas. The top two singles players and the doubles champion will automatically advance to the NCAA National Championships. Other student-athletes (singles and doubles) who make deep runs at the tournament will be eligible for selection to one of the ITA Sectional Championships, Nov. 6-8, for a chance to advance to the national championships.
In addition to the two major competitions, Boise State will also travel to three other events during the month of October. The first is the Idaho State Invite, held from October 3 to 5, followed by the SoCal Intercollegiate, scheduled for October 27-29 in Los Angeles, and the SMU Ralston/Neufeld Coaches Challenge, taking place from October 31 to November 2 in Dallas.
The month of November will feature three national events: the ITA Conference Masters and ITA Sectional Championships, held from November 6 through 8. The fall schedule will conclude with the NCAA Singles and Doubles National Championships in Lake Nona, Florida, November 19-24.
