TOURNAMENT SUCCESS: Making multiple appearances in the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational, the Broncos won the tournament outright in 2021 by 10 strokes over San Francisco and Utah. Shooting 46 under par (269-262-287—818), Boise State set tournament records for lowest tournament score (818; -46), lowest team round (second round—262; -26) and lowest 36-hole total (531; -45).

LAST TIME OUT: In the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational (Sept. 20-22), the Broncos collectively shot 857 (-7) and concluded the tournament T-6th. Cole Rueck captured his second-consecutive top-10 finish to start the season, firing a 209 (-7) to tie for fifth. Reese Knox rose 25 spots on the final 18 holes and earned his second career top-25 placement (T-18th) with a 214 (-2).

SIXTH OR HIGHER: Through two tournaments, Boise State has amassed a 22-9-2 record. The team finished fifth (829, -23) in the Palouse Collegiate and T-6th (857, -7) in the Gene Miranda. It marks the first time Boise State has placed sixth or higher in consecutive tournaments under head coach David Trainor.

2024-25: The Broncos finished the 2024-25 campaign with an 88-63-3 record, signifying massive improvement from the previous year. Collectively, Boise State posted five top-three finishes, highlighted by the team's victory in the UC Santa Barbara Gaucho Invitational.

AN EXPERIENCED SQUAD: Head Coach David Trainor is in his fourth season at the helm and is returning seven golfers from last year's team, including five upperclassmen. New to the squad is Grant Potter and Ryan Shepherd, who are from Hayden and Boise, Idaho, respectively.

RUECK RETURNS FOR SENIOR SEASON: Cole Rueck, in his senior season, is fresh off his second-consecutive All-Mountain West selection. He placed in the top-10 on six occasions a year ago, and was victorious in the Genesis Collegiate Showcase, Loyola Intercollegiate and Battle of Idaho.
