BOISE, Idaho – Boise State volleyball came up just short in extra points in the fifth set Friday afternoon, falling in five to the Big 12 Conference's Arizona Wildcats 3-2 (21-25, 22-25, 25-13, 25-19, 21-19). Both teams entered the match undefeated; the loss moved the Broncos to 4-1 overall, while Arizona improved to 5-0.

Boise State went out to a 2-0 lead in the match with victories in the first and second sets. Unfortunately, the Wildcats rallied, taking the third and fourth to force a decisive fifth set.

The fifth set saw the Broncos rally from 11-8 down to force it into extra points, where they had three match points but could not secure the win. Arizona also had three match points before edging the Blue and Orange 21-19 to claim the match.
