BOISE, Idaho – Boise State volleyball came up short against Oregon State on Saturday, falling 3-0 (27-25, 25-23, 25-20) to the Beavers on the final day of the Boise State Classic. The loss moved Boise State to 4-2 overall.

Boise State was unable to put a set away on Saturday after holding leads late in the first two sets, only to see the Beavers rally for wins to take control of the match, up 2-0.

The third saw Oregon State take an early lead, then held off the Broncos' rally attempts down the stretch to win the third and clinch the match in three.

Notables

Eliza Sharp was named to the Boise State Classic All-Tournament Team after hitting .458 for 25 kills on the week, to go with 14 blocks – two solos – and finishing with 33 points.
Ari Bilby led the Broncos with 11 points on 10 kills and two block assists; it was her fourth match with double-digit kills.
Eliza Sharp hit a season-high .538 (7-0-13) for seven kills and tied for the high in blocks with six; she finished with 10.5 points.
Layla Smith recorded five kills and tied for the high in blocks with six.

The Broncos will remain at home next week when they host the Boise State Invitational featuring the Idaho State Bengals, the San Francisco Dons, and the Utah Tech Trailblazers.
