BOISE, Idaho — Boise State Rocket League continued its strong PEC Spring Season run with a decisive 3–0 sweep over Utah, controlling possession and offensive tempo throughout the series behind elite shooting volume and efficient passing. From the opening kickoff, the Broncos dictated play, keeping Utah pinned in its own half and limiting clean counterattacks across all three games.

Boise State set the tone early in Game 1, establishing sustained pressure and forcing Utah into extended defensive sequences. Emiliano Flores led the offensive charge, finishing the series with nine goals on 12 shots, while Cade Hall applied constant pressure, generating a match-high 17 shots and adding physicality with six demos. Preston Ferrante orchestrated the midfield, setting the pace with precise touches and quick distribution that repeatedly opened shooting lanes.

While Utah remained organized defensively, Boise State's volume eventually broke through. Kelsan Chisholm anchored the back line for the Utes with multiple saves as Boise State continued to test the defense from all angles.

The Broncos' rotation discipline became even more apparent in Game 2. Ferrante's play making stood out as he consistently found teammates in space, finishing the series with eight assists. Flores and Hall continued to stretch Utah's defense, forcing rushed clears and limiting sustained offensive pressure. Utah struggled to break out cleanly, managing only sporadic looks despite strong individual defensive efforts.

Utah showed its most resilience in Game 3, finding goals through Bransen and Seth Rushton in an effort to slow Boise State's momentum. Chisholm remained active in goal, but the Broncos closed the series decisively, maintaining offensive control and shutting down late chances to secure the sweep.

Head coach Doc Haskell emphasized that the most impressive aspect of the performance wasn't visible on the broadcast.

"The most impressive part of this performance was invisible to the fans," Haskell said. "In my headset, there were three players locked in, focused on playing a perfect Game 1, 2, and 3. Great teams play without concern for what it means, and Cade, Emiliano, and Preston were working to perfect the way they play."

Boise State outscored Utah 19–3 and finished with 40 shots in the series, underscoring a performance defined not by flash, but by control and execution.
