SEATTLE – The Boise State women's tennis team fell to No. 22 Washington, 6-1, on Sunday in Seattle.
 
Washington (2-0) jumped out to an early lead by securing the doubles point with wins on courts one and three. The Huskies followed with singles victories at the No. 4, No. 3 and No. 2 positions to clinch the team result, then added points on courts one and five.
 
Freshman Carla Grignac earned the lone point for Boise State (1-1) with a win at No. 6, defeating Carina Syrtveit 6-3, 3-6, 1-0(6).

  • Boise State will host BYU and Montana State in a doubleheader at the BOAS Indoor Tennis Center on Jan. 30 at 11 a.m. MT and 6 p.m., respectively.
