Boise State Takes Win Over Air Force

USAFA, Colo. – Boise State women's basketball defeated Air Force 70-59, Wednesday night.

Mya Hansen and Natalie Pasco, who combined for nine 3-pointers, led the Broncos' (11-5, 2-3 Mountain West) effort.

Tatum Thompson opened the scoring and sparked a 7-0 run for the Broncos, highlighted by a 3-pointer from Pasco and a layup by Dani Bayes. Air Force (7-8, 1-4) didn't score its first field goal until Jordyn Devaughn connected on a pull-up jumper with 6:32 remaining in the first quarter.

After Keelie O'Hollaren answered with a 3-pointer for the Falcons, Hansen responded with one of her own just 11 seconds later. Boise State went scoreless over the final 4:54 of the quarter as Air Force closed on a 6-0 run, but the Broncos maintained a 17-15 lead at the end of one.

The second quarter opened slowly for Boise State, which didn't score until three and a half minutes in. Pasco snapped the drought with a triple from beyond the arc. After another four-minute scoring drought, freshman Mason Borcherding broke through with a layup in the paint, igniting a 10-0 run to close the half.
