BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State women's tennis team earned a dominant 7-0 victory over Santa Clara on Sunday.

For the second consecutive match, the Broncos (3-2) opened the scoring by securing the doubles point. The duo of Tereza Polakova and Zdena Safarova claimed a 6-2 win at No. 1, while Allison Isaacs and Paula Schaefer earned a 6-2 victory at No. 2.

Holding a 1-0 lead, Boise State extended its advantage to 3-0 with wins at No. 3 and No. 1 singles, both completed in under an hour. Masa Viriant defeated Santa Clara's (1-2) Anna Rahman, 6-1, 6-0, and Safarova followed with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Daniella Dimitrova.

Carla Grignac delivered the match-clinching point with a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 6 singles. Schaefer, Polakova and Isaacs then added points at Nos. 5, 2 and 4, respectively, to complete the 7-0 sweep.
