BOISE, Idaho — Boise State Rocket League continued its PEC Spring push with a decisive 3–0 sweep over Minnesota, riding momentum from a strong weekend at the Hawai'i Invitational and reinforcing its position near the top of the standings.
The Broncos controlled the series from start to finish, combining early offensive bursts with disciplined late-game execution to improve to 11–3 on the season. Head Coach Doc Haskell knows this team played at the top of their game tonight: "Is in position to be in position when the moment strikes. They are hungry and ready to take their chance!"
Game 1
Boise State wasted no time setting the tone. Preston Ferrante and Cade Hall each found the back of the net within the first 30 seconds, immediately forcing Minnesota onto its heels. The Golden Gophers stabilized defensively and found a response through Pai, but the Broncos maintained pressure and closed out a tight 3–2 win.
Game 2
The second game showcased Boise State at full throttle. Hall scored twice, Ferrante added one, and Emiliano Flores poured in three goals of his own as the Broncos rolled to a 6–0 shutout. The Gophers struggled to clear pressure, while Boise State's rotations and shot volume kept the ice tilted throughout.
Game 3
Minnesota showed greater resilience in the finale. Flores opened scoring just seven seconds in with a ceiling shot to give Boise State the early edge. The match tightened from there, with both sides recording five saves apiece as defensive pressure mounted. Rad found a late equalizer for Minnesota, sending the game into overtime.
In the extra period, tension rose as both teams exchanged chances for nearly two minutes. Ferrante ultimately delivered the golden goal, sealing the sweep and capping a composed performance from the Broncos.
