Broncos Complete Season Sweep

2/24/2026 9:58:00 PM | Men's Basketball

BOISE, Idaho — Boise State notched its second-consecutive win, defeating Wyoming, 72-62, on Tuesday night at ExtraMile Arena.

Dylan Andrews led the way for the Broncos (17-11 overall, 9-8 Mountain West), scoring a game-high 20 points on 6-of-9 shooting in nearly 31 minutes of game action. The performance marks his sixth 20-point performance of the season.

Drew Fielder tallied 18 points, seven rebounds, two blocks and an assist, Javan Buchanan collected 17 points and six boards. Andrew Meadow pitched in with 10 points and three assists, tying his career high.

Wyoming (15-13, 6-11 MW) was led by Damarion Dennis who recorded 16 points and four rebounds. Nasir Meyer, who missed the first matchup between the Broncos and Cowboys, pitched in with 12 points and seven rebounds.

At the outset of Tuesday's game, Andrews and Fielder served as the spark plug for Boise State's offense, tallying the team's first four field goals and eight points. In the opening seven minutes of action, both squads combined to make 10 shots, but it was Wyoming who led by one upon reaching the under-16 media stoppage.

Trailing by as many as seven points in the frame, the Broncos closed the half with a bang. Boise State capped the initial 20-minute session by scoring 10 of the final 12 points.

As the game clock expired, Fielder poured in his third field goal of the game and Boise State's second 3-pointer of the half. He was 1-of-3 Broncos who tallied eight points in the period, joining Andrews and Buchanan.

Spanning the final 2:04, Boise State scored nine unanswered points to regain the lead. Collectively shooting 48 percent from the field, the Broncos, who are 16-1 when leading the half, were ahead by two at the intermission.

To start the second half, Buchanan and Meadow did the heavy lifting offensively. The pair scored Boise State's first 10 points, helping the team forge ahead by seven.

The Broncos pushed their lead 10, but with a quick response, Wyoming buried back-to-back long balls to pull with four. After making it a one-possession game, Andrews answered with a pair of triples to reup the lead to eight.

With under four minutes to play, RJ Keene II collected a steal and scored on a fastbreak layup. The bucket gave Boise State a double-digit advantage once again.

From there, the Broncos cruised to the finish line. Andrews secured the victory at the foul line, and Boise State nabbed a season sweep against the Cowboys.
