Boise State Battles to Eighth-Place Finish in Austin

AUSTIN, Texas – The Boise State women's golf battled to an eighth-place finish at the Betsy Rawls Invitational, carding a team score of 947 (+83). The Broncos fought harsh winds and cold temperatures on the first day, which featured 36 holes. The Blue and Orange improved 20 strokes from the first to second round, then closed with a six-stroke improvement on the final day. Junior Teal Matsueda was the team's top finisher for the second-straight tournament, tying for 18th at 230 (+14). Junior Jillian Hui fired the team's best round of the week, shooting a 73 (+1) on the final day.
