WHAT'S NEXT: The Boise State women's tennis team will look for its 12th and 13th consecutive wins, and to move to 6-0 in conference play, when it hosts Nevada and UNLV this weekend. The Broncos will host the Wolf Pack on March 27 at 11 a.m. MT and the Rebels on March 29 at 11 a.m. at the Appleton Tennis Center.

SCOUTING THE WOLF PACK: Nevada will travel to Boise after defeating Wyoming and Colorado State last weekend. The Wolf Pack are 6-7 overall and 2-2 in the Mountain West. Boise State will look to even the all-time series, as Nevada holds a 20-19 advantage.

SCOUTING THE REBELS: UNLV and Boise State enter the weekend as the only two teams undefeated in MW play at 4-0. The Rebels are on an eight-match winning streak and will face Utah State before traveling to Boise. The Broncos earned their second all-time win against UNLV last season, though the Rebels lead the all-time series 12-2.

HOT STREAK: Boise State has won 11 consecutive matches and 13 straight against MW opponents, the longest streak since joining the conference in 2011. The Broncos will look to start league play 6-0, which would mark the best MW start in program history.

NATIONALLY RANKED: The Broncos are ranked No. 49 in the latest ITA rankings, and No. 45 in the latest UTR Sports collegiate team rankings.

ONE OF ONE: Head coach Beck Roghaar (2011-present) became the program's all-time winningest coach with his 182nd career victory, surpassing Mark Tichenor (1999-2010) in the win against Gonzaga on Feb. 28. He enters the weekend with 186.

DOMINATING CONFERENCE PLAY: Dating back to last season, the Broncos have won 13 consecutive matches against MW opponents, the program's most since joining the conference in 2011.

MW WEEKLY AWARDS: Zdena Safarova earned her fifth and sixth career MW Player of the Week honors on March 18th and 25th following strong performances against Colorado State, Wyoming, Grand Canyon and San Diego State. Her six awards are most among active players. Carla Grignac also earned MW Player of the Week and Freshman of the Week honors on Jan. 28 after a win at the No. 6 singles position against nationally ranked Washington. She became the third player in MW history and the second in program history to earn both honors in the same week.

DEFENDING MW CHAMPS: The Broncos claimed their first conference tournament championship since 2010 by winning the 2025 MW Tournament. Boise State defeated Fresno State, San Diego State and UNLV en route to the MW title.

COACH OF THE YEAR: Roghaar, in his 16th season at the helm, was named MW and ITA Mountain Region Coach of the Year for the 2024-25 season. The former marked his third conference Coach of the Year honor, while the latter was the first regional recognition of his career, making him just the second coach in program history to receive the award.

IN THE RECORD BOOK: Safarova holds the fourth-most career No. 1 singles wins (30). Gayleen McManus holds the program record with 50 wins at the top singles spot from 1994-98.

ALL-MW RETURNERS: In 2025, Safarova earned All-MW honors in singles and doubles and was named MW Tournament MVP and MW All-Tournament No. 1 Singles. Paula Schaefer earned All-Tournament No. 4 Singles honors, while Masa Viriant was named All-Tournament No. 6 Singles.

PARKING: Free parking will be available for both matches. Fans can park in the west side stadium lot between Albertsons Stadium and ExtraMile Arena. To receive free parking, fans will need to enter their license plate number and select the "Women's Tennis" option on the parking machine.
