Seeding Announced for Big 12 Beach Volleyball Championship

Broncos Will Compete in Pool Play Thursday, Bracket Play on Friday
IRVING, Texas – Boise State beach volleyball will enter its first Big 12 Beach Volleyball Championship presented by Allstate as the No. 5 seed, the conference announced.
The championship will begin on Thursday, April 23 with pool play. As the No. 5 seed, the Broncos (19-13, 2-1 Big 12) will compete against top-seeded Florida State at 10 a.m. MT before facing off against No. 4 South Carolina at 12:30 p.m. MT.
Based on pool play results, all six teams will be slated into a single-elimination bracket that will take place on Friday, April 24. The championship dual is slated for 4:30 p.m. MT.
The seeding of the six schools was voted on by all six head coaches.

Boise State went 2-1 in conference duals during the season, defeating Arizona and South Carolina at the Big 12 Preview in March. The Blue and Orange are 2-4 on the year against Big 12 foes, including a 1-1 mark against the Gamecocks and an 0-2 record against the Seminoles.Â
The Broncos are 10-2 in their last 12 duals, including a pair of victories over ranked opponents (No. 19 Washington, No. 15 Florida Atlantic) last weekend at the Alki Invitational. Boise State has defeated four ranked opponents on the season, the most in a single year in program history. Â
