BOISE, Idaho - Boise State's Kaiya Robertson has been named to the CSC Academic All-American Second Team, the College Sports Communicators announced Wednesday.
The honor marks the 11th time a Bronco runner (track & field and cross country) has earned recognition. She is the first track & field athlete to garner the recognition since Israel Anaya-Carmona in 2021. The men's and women's teams have now earned CSC Academic All-American nods 14 times.Â
Boise State's men's team has been recognized four times and the women's team nine times. Abbey Elsberry was selected twice in 2003 and 2004 and Allie Ostrander in 2018 and 2019.
Athletes are voted on by members of the CSC after being nominated by their membering schools. Robertson, alongside Bianca Boehnke, Emily Jobes, Abby Kendrick, Amit Koma, Brian Kiprotich, Victoria Lotz and Alex Thompson, was named academic all-district on June 23rd.Â
In the 2025-26 season Robertson captured three individual Mountain West titles in both indoor and outdoor events along with a second place finish in cross country. She helped lead the women's outdoor track & field team to a fourth-place finish in the MW, its highest MW finish since joining in 2010.
Robertson's success throughout the year earned her a chance to compete at all three NCAA national meets across the cross country, indoor and outdoor track & field seasons. She was named a second team All-American following the indoor season and an honorable mention All-American to conclude the outdoor season.
Robertson held a 4.0 GPA while pursuing her degree in health studies and was named the NCAA Elite Scholar-Athlete Award winner at the 2026 NCAA Outdoor National Championships.
