BOISE, Idaho – Boise State soccer freshman Campbell Wilson has been named the Pac-12 Newcomer of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.

Wilson earned the weekly honor after recording three goals and two assists across Boise State's 3-0 season-opening victory over CSUN on Aug. 12 and its 4-1 win over Weber State on Aug. 16.

In the season opener against CSUN, Wilson tallied two goals and an assist, becoming the first Bronco to score twice in a season opener since Shannon Saxton in 2007.

Wilson found the back of the net again against Weber State, becoming the first Boise State freshman to score in consecutive matches since Aubree Chatterton in 2017.

The honor marks the first Pac-12 weekly award of the 2026 season and the first of Wilson's career.

Boise State soccer returns to action Thursday, Aug. 20, traveling to Dallas, Texas, to face SMU. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. MT, with the match streaming live on ACCNX.
