POCATELLO, Idaho – Boise State swept Pacific 3-0 on day two of the Orange and Black Classic.

Kendall Hastings started the Broncos (7-5) off with a kill. The Tigers (4-7) scored four points in a row off two errors and two kills. Pacific pulled ahead 15-7, but the Broncos responded with kills from Sydney Dreves, Amelia Hansen, Hastings and Azlynn Tittmann. Athena Cox and Tittmann tallied a block to tie it up at 19-19. Melia Barlow followed with a service ace to take the lead 20-19. Boise State used its momentum to finish out set one 25-23.

Freshman Reese Hone put up an ace to kick off the second set. The two teams went back and forth until Dreves and Tittmann scored kills to chip away at Pacific's lead. The Broncos went on a four-point scoring run to lead the set 13-5. Boise State's offense continued to dominate in set two and kept the pressure on Pacific the remainder of the set. The Broncos won the second set 25-19.

In set three, the two teams exchanged leads from the jump, but Boise State remained consistent at the net with 11 kills and two blocks. The Blue and Orange also added four service aces. The Broncos' strong serving game led to Dreves finishing off the match with a service ace.

Athena Cox tallied a team high for the second match in a row with 4 blocks.
Azlynn Tittmann led the team in kills with 12.
Tehya Maeva recorded a team-high 23 assists.
Melia Barlow and Sydney Dreves both led the team in service aces with three apiece.

Kendall Hastings recorded seven kills with a .462 attack percentage.
Azlynn Tittmann marked her sixth match with double-digit kills and tallied a .417 attack percentage.
