2018-19 | SENIOR SEASON

OVERALL: Went 10-8 in fall singles matches ... posted a 4-8 record in fall doubles matches with three different partners. 

FALL HIGHLIGHTS: Defeated Northern Arizona's Facundo Tumosa 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 in the Wildcat Invitational (Sept. 21-23) quarterfinal ... victory against Justin Cvitanovic 6-4, 6-1 (Grand Canyon) to advance to the finals of the Wildcat Invitational (Sept. 21-23) ... won against Oregon's Ethan Young-Smith 4-6, 6-1, 6-3 in the round of 16 at the Duck Invitational (Nov. 2-4) ... doubles team with Simon Stenlund beat Mack Galvin/Matt Ghering 6-2 at the Dar Walters Fall Classic (Oct. 5-7). 

SPRING HIGHLIGHTS: Went 2-9 in spring singles matches and 2-6 in doubles. Singles Play – Started the spring season by defeating Christian Damgaard Qvist from Montana State (Jan. 25)…went on to defeat conference foe Mack Galvin from Air Force (April 7) in straight sets 6-3, 6-2. In doubles, from the No. 2 spot downed Montana State’s (Jan.25) Creel Smith and Joaquin Espinoza with partner Simon Arca Costas…he and partner Wyatt Demulling defeated Roberto Salazar and Herman Yue from Lewis-Clark State (Feb.1) 6-1.
 


2017-18 | JUNIOR SEASON

HONORS: Academic All-Mountain West and Mountain West Scholar Athlete (for a 3.5 or better GPA).

OVERALL: Transferred to Boise State in January from Cypress College (JC) ... played in 14 dual matches during the spring going 5-6 in singles playing primarily at the lower three positions, went 1-1 in MW play ... in doubles play saw action in six dual matches and one tournament, the Pacific Coast Doubles Championship (March 1-4) ... went 8-3 overall in doubles play including 7-3 while paired with Harvey Shackleton, they went 3-1 at No. 3 doubles.

FALL HIGHLIGHTS: Did not play collegiately during the fall semester before transferring to Boise State in January of 2018.

SPRING HIGHLIGHTS: Singles Play - First singles win as a Bronco came on March 18 in a 4-3 Bronco victory against Montana State when he dispatched Mateus Ceolin at No. 6 singles in straight sets 6-1, 6-4 ... downed Weber State’s (March 18) Bo-Han Li 6-4, 6-2 as Boise State won 4-1 ... recorded a Mountain West win over San Diego State’s (March 29) Rafael Gonzalez-Almazan 6-4, 6-4 at No. 5 singles to help Broncos to 4-1 win ... put away Idaho State’s (April 8) Keegan Sullivan in two sets 6-4, 6-2 at No. 6 as Boise State won 4-3 ... downed Idaho’s (April 21) No. 6 player Lucas Coutinho 6-1, 6-4. Doubles play while paired with Harvey Shackleton - defeated Villanova’s (March 4) Mike Czlonka and Tom Mulfur 6-2 ... downed Boston College’s (March 3) Jeff Melvin and Will Turner 6-3, 6-2 and UC Irvine’s Mason Hansena and Luca Marquard 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 at Pacific Coast Doubles Championship ... beat Idaho State’s (April 8) No. 3 tandem of Keegen Sullivan and Austin Gwilliam 6-4.  

2016-17 | SOPHOMORE SEASON

HONORS: Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) / California Junior College All-American in singles and doubles ... Orange Empire Conference (OEC) Player of the Year and a member of the OEC Co-Doubles Team of the Year - Note, Boise State teammate Wyatt DeMulling was on the other doubles team ... ITA California JUCO Sophomore Player of the Year ... California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Scholar Athlete Award for achieving a 3.5 GPA or higher.

HIGHLIGHTS: Played for Cypress College (Calif.) where he finished the year ranked second in singles and third in doubles by the ITA/CCCAA ... helped lead Cypress College Chargers to the Southern California Regional Championship match before falling to Irvine Valley ... team finished season ranked second in the final CCCAA state poll ... team went 18-7 overall and 8-2 in conference to place second ... advanced to the CCCAA State Singles Championship Tournament where he reached the quarterfinals with three-consecutive straight-set victories beginning with Ivan Martinez from San Diego City 6-1, 6-0 in the round of 64, followed by wins over Dimitrije Vukovic from the College of the Desert 6-0, 6-1 in the round of 32 and Aleks Trifunovic of Cerritos College 6-0, 6-0 in the round of 16 before falling in a tough two-set affair 7-5, 7-6(5) to Lucas Lesoeur of Irvine Valley in the quarterfinals ... in doubles he and partner Vincent Reynaud went 4-1 at the CCCAA Doubles State Championship, which included defeating future Boise State teammate Wyatt DeMulling and his partner Chris Politiek of Irvine Valley 6-4, 5-7, 1-0 (10-5) in the quarterfinals to advance to the semifinals where they loss to the top-seeded team from Cerritos College 6-4, 7-5.

2015-16 | FRESHMAN SEASON

Played spring semester for Jacksonville College (JC) of Texas ... finished ranked No. 4 nationally in singles by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) ... won the NJCAA regional championship for No. 1 singles and reached the national semifinals ... the team began the season ranked 21st nationally before finishing at No. 9 ... standout in the classroom earning a 4.0 GPA.

JUNIOR TENNIS

Was ranked No. 1 in France as a youth for U12s ... ranked in top-50 in Europe for U14s.

PERSONAL

He is the older brother of Geoffrey Blancaneaux who won the 2016 Roland Garros Junior French Championship in singles and is currently playing on the pro-circuit where he is ranked in the ITF’s top-300 for singles.

Majoring in Social Science with a double minor in Psychology and Economics.
