BOISE STATE CAREER
RS JUNIOR (2016-17): Began the season as Boise State's starter at 133 pounds, going 2-0 before missing the remainder of the season due to injury...Won by a technical fall (18-2) in Boise State's dual against Purdue (Nov. 18)...Won by a pin (1:51) in Boise State's win over Utah Valley (Dec. 10). . . . 2nd Team Pac-12 All-Academic
RS SOPHOMORE (2015-16): Missed nearly the entire season with an injury, but returned to the line-up in a dual against Stanford (Feb. 11)…was 5-3 on the season, including a pair of pins and a major decision…made the move to 133 pounds, then started the team’s final four duals at the weight class, going 2-2…represented the Broncos at the Pac-12 Championships, going 3-1 to finish third.
RS FRESHMAN (2014-15): Went 6-5 during his collegiate debut, with injuries keeping him to only dual action throughout the regular season...Broncos' primary starter at 125 pounds went 6-4 in dual action, including a pair of victories over ranked opponents...pinned 16th-ranked Trey Andrews of Northern Colorado (2:40), and earned a 7-3 decision over 15th ranked Evan Silver of Stanford...represented Boise State at the Pac-12 Championships, but he defaulted due to injury in his opening match...named Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team.
FRESHMAN (2013-14): Redshirt season...went 4-0 on the season while wrestling unattached...went a perfect 4-0 in his only action of the season at the Battle of the Rockies (Dec. 7)...included was a pin.
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Originally signed with Boise State in 2009 before taking a year off to spend time at the United States Olympic Training Center and serving on a church mission in Chile...qualified for the 5A UHSAA Tournament all four years at Alta High School, going undefeated in each of his final three seasons to finish with a 174-12 career record and three state championships...named the Dave Schultz Outstanding Wrestler Award in Utah...also won the Junior Freestyle National Championship at 119 pounds in 2010 and competed on the Junior FILA World Team in 2009.
